It’s so cool to see something I drew turn into a real quilt. Here is the central element of my latest quilt in one piece. The white block in the middle is a temporary part of the construction…I will eventually applique a teal piece over the top, sort of a rounded diamond.
My inspiration for this quilt was this somewhat-botched Zentangle sketch. The picture pinned to my board above is how I plan to set this element in a larger piece.
Up next: drafting the triangles in the corners.
