Variations on one Zentangle

Post image for Variations on one Zentangle

Zentangles always get their own way. I start with an idea, then before I know it, the drawing has raced off in a different direction. This one was going to be a square within a square, but it just didn’t cooperate:

Not sure if I wanted to add more, I scanned the image so I could have it to play with at this stage, even if I decide to draw more on it. Following are some variations created with scan in Photoshop:

This setting allowed me to emphasize the break in the drawing.

A flower cut from a virtual Zentangle fabric.

An image collage from a few separate Zentangles.

A "toile" look block made from the same images.

I love all your variations, I’ll have to give that a try!
