Okay, so maybe that title is a little judgmental…but that was my reaction when I finished this drawing last night…”It’s weird, but I like it.” I wanted to try drawing something that wasn’t so filled in, something that was more organic and plant-like.
I like to look at other people’s Zentangle® drawings, and I know that the style originated in “tiles” that are generally not filled edge to edge. My inclination has always been to draw from one side of the paper to the other. (My musical style is similar…it’s very hard for me to leave spaces or moments of silence in my playing.) This drawing was a stretch in that direction.
One Very Weird Drawing
