I saw a Photoshop tutorial I had to try…How to Create Fractals in Photoshop Easily. These aren’t true fractals…if they were, you could zoom in indefinitely and keep getting images. However, it does create a pretty groovy facsimile image…these are fun.

A fractal is “a rough or fragmented geometric shape that can be split into parts, each of which is (at least approximately) a reduced-size copy of the whole.” Broccoli is a good example found in nature. Some great examples can be seen here:

now whoever/whatever makes crop circles needs to see this–they must learn to use color or forget about it–note depth–looks like an unexpected garden under the sea–a mermaid’s garden–or those look like asters–so a daylight garden at night –very gorgeous–also a somewhat Japanese kimono matl element–fabric would be expensive to make but very unique
